HOW TO APPLY CHEST BANDAGE 2

There are times that the chest might have injury, but before bringing the patient to the hospital a chest bandage application is very useful, for an immediate temporary care.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE

Locate the apex of triangular bandage, place on the shoulder above the affected chest (figure 1)

Bring the two points at the back, making some adjustments of the base of triangular bandage (figure 2)

Make a 1st square knotĀ  at the back of patient, make sure the knot should be inline with the apex of triangular bandage (figure 3)

Make your 2nd square knot, using the longer point with the apex (figure 4)

Hide the excess points of square knot, housekeeping purpose (figure 5)

Make some adjustments on the base and sides of the triangular bandage, to add more pressure (figure 6)

You now have the complete set-up of chest bandage application (figure 7)
